Business Development Representative

Nicus Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise IT Financial Management (ITFM) software has an immediate opening for self-motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to make an impact on growing the Nicus software business. You’ll be generating qualified appointments for our US sales teams at enterprise organizations across a range of industries. Becoming a Business Development Representative can be the first step to a rewarding and lucrative career in software sales. What You’ll Do:
 
  • Utilize a defined methodology to generate qualified meetings for sales
  • Outbound calling, emailing and LinkedIn messaging to prospects to uncover opportunities for the Nicus software platform, maintaining high activity levels (min. 60+ phone calls and 60+ emails per day)
  • Use lead generation tools to routinely build accurate targeted lists of prospects
  • Identify and engage prospects through various communication channels
  • Ask smart, targeted questions to knowledgeably engage with prospects
  • Successfully handle and overcome prospect objections
  • Understand and articulate how Nicus’ key differentiators align to the business pains of specific sectors and personas
  • Continuously learn, improving daily and reassessing approaches
  • Update systems with accurate and relevant information to track interactions and progress
  • Capture valuable business insights through meaningful interactions with prospects
  • Utilize the latest prospecting technology platforms including Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

What We’re Looking For:
 
  • One to two years of prospecting experience calling into decision makers meeting or exceeding goals
  • Business to business SaaS software experience selling into IT and business leaders is preferred
  • A self-starter who takes initiative to achieve goals, is competitive and motivated whilst maintaining the highest level of integrity
  • Ability to actively listen to assess prospect needs and opportunities, positive and energetic with strong verbal and written communication
  • Sales training and Salesforce experience a plus
  • College degree or equivalent
